4th of July Events and Things to do

When my daughters were young, fireworks were mandatory for Fourth of July.   Many residents in Pasadena and La Canada have great vantages for viewing the Rose Bowl fireworks.  The CV show can be enjoyed by some those in Markridge Estates and other La Crescenta hillside dwellers. The show at Lakeside Golf Club can be enjoyed by many Glendale, Burbank and Toluca Lake households.

For those who don’t live in prime fireworks watching neighborhoods and not invited to a private party, here’s the list of where to catch the best shows and events in and around my favorite Los Angeles neighborhoods:

La Crescenta

Crescenta Valley Fireworks Association
4 PM
Tickets $7 presale until July 3rd on 4th $10, food trucks. Fireworks show and carnival rides

Burbank

Starlight Bowl 
4:30 PM
Music concert and firework show

 

Pasadena

88th Annual American Fest
2 PM – 9:30 PM
Live motorcycle stunts, musical performances, fireworks show

Night Train Music Club
6:30 PM – 8 PM
Live music, kids zone

Los Angeles

Grand Park Fourth of July Block Party
4PM – 9 PM
Rooftop fireworks display in downtown L.A. music concert, food
