Interest rates are increasing but haven’t cooled the real estate market. It’s Spring, and thankfully I see many new listings come on the market. Our Pasadena Spanish should be available in the next several weeks. I listed an architectural home in La Crescenta with a guest house home office with a separate entrance and pool. We have multiple offers on our Alhambra listing. Our multi-family units in Cudahy are being photographed and should be coming soon.
Our La Crescenta listing on Fairesta closed. We had six offers, five of which were over the asking price. The successful buyer had written four offers on other homes. She was very excited to be the successful bidder and close escrow finally. If your Realtor does a good job marketing your home, you can’t underprice a listing. (Of course, it’s better to hire a real estate agent who will do a fantastic job marketing your home).
Our Alhambra listing received twenty-three offers. Three were cash. I countered the twenty-three offers “highest and best.” This means the buyer will respond with their final highest, and best offer. Thirteen offers responded, and I hope to open escrow this week. My partner and brother-in-law Joe met the measurer and photographer at our units in Cudahay on Monday. And these multi-family units should be listed in the MLS soon. I have a new architectural listing in La Crescenta. The home has a pool, guest house, and home office with a separate entrance.
I finished my event at St. Bede (Pasta lunch and celebration of the Feast of St. Joseph. Our silent auction raised over three thousand dollars. As a Realtor, I am constantly waiting. Waiting on photos, floorplans, videos, offers, counteroffers, loan approvals, recordings, etc. In our downtime, Kris and I like to keep busy, so we solicit silent auction items for various charities.
