Last month (February 2016), the most expensive luxury home sale in La Canada was at 1011 Descanso Drive. This seven bedroom, six bath home and guest house encompass nearly 6,000 square feet on a 16,000+ square foot lot. The home sold for $2,800,000.
If at first, you don’t succeed…. try, try, again. This home has been on and off the market soon after the sellers purchase in 2005 when it was just 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. They paid $1,600,000.
(I can’t take credit for the typos in the MLS remarks, but it’s entertaining to read them and see how each Realtor attempted to define the copy.
In 2008, the home was rebuilt and listed with Agent A for $2,600,000 for 287 days.
