Years ago we had a Foothill Board of Realtors, primarily for La Crescenta and La Canada real estate agents. Economies of scale and all that necessitated us to merge with a larger realty board and the Foothill Board opted to join the Pasadena Board.
The Pasadena Board of Realtors recently switched their Multiple Listing Service (MLS) provider and because of this May La Canada real estate statistics are late in coming this month. Long story short I resigned from the Pasadena board and joined the Glendale board… and now I can provide you with the complete report of La Canada values and listings. It doesn’t much matter what board we are associated with…. Kris is a member of the Arcadia Board, and Joe is a member of CLAW MLS. The critical factor is that the MLS is functional and user friendly. If I need a lockbox reprogrammed instead of taking it to Pasadena, I will now take it to Glendale.
Most everywhere I go people want to discuss real estate values and how much homes are selling for in their neighborhood; I love to refer them to my real estate blog.
There were thirty La Canada home sales in June ranging from $1,100,000 – $6,300,000. There were just seven La Canada listings to sell under $1,500,000. As the La Canada real estate market becomes more and more difficult for first time buyers, La Crescenta homes become highly sought after. For first time buyers this can and is a vicious cycle.
The best way to find out how much your La Canada home is worth is to give Phyllis a call @ 818 790-7325. Not ready to chat? Click here to keep up to date with home values in your neighborhood
