Last month I sold the most expensive home in La Canada in February 2019: 1929 Lyans Drive. This home sold for $2,850,000. The sellers purchased this newly constructed La Canada estate fourteen years ago for $2,450.000.

    I think for California at least the slow down is more about the new tax rules than mortgage rates. The 10000 dollar cap for loan interest and real estate taxes is a killer in states like ours
