Los Angeles Events & Things To Do 10/11 – 10/13

I have a friend who just returned from Paris, having never been (other than the airport), I am hoping to catch up with her this weekend at our favorite Chinese restaurant Chi Dynasty (Los Feliz one is better than Glendale).  For those of you looking for something to do this weekend, here’s the list:

Glendale Police K-9 Unit live demonstrations, dog agility exercises, AKC good citizen canine testing,  face painting, rock wall climbing, and bounce houses. Pet costume contest, low-cost pet vaccinations, micro chipping, raffles and prizes-including a mini i-Pad, photos with your favorite K-9 unit member. Food and shaved ice.

Pasadena Dance Theatre’s Nutcracker Auditions For Children

Auditions for children’s roles in its annual professional production of The Nutcracker ballet. Girls 9 years old and up with at least one year of ballet training and boys 8 years and up (no training needed) are encouraged to audition at Pasadena Dance Theatre.
