Most expensive Glendale home sale was 601 W. Kenneth Rd

This luxury home sold for $2,600,000, this stunning Monterey Colonial sold before it hit the Multiple Listing Service (MLS).  There are several benefits to selling without being listed in the MLS.  The biggest benefit is confidentiality, the second is that a motivated buyer is competing against himself.  But there are also detriments. The real estate market is cyclical. This was the third time this home sold in the past 13 years. In 2005 it sold for $1,750,000 and again six years later in 2011 for $1,625,000 which is $125,000 less then the previous sale.

There  are no MLS remarks as this home as it was not listed in the MLS until after escrow closed. One of the things I love about Glendale is that most of the homes were constructed one by one, by different architects and different home styles. The three most common architectural styles are Spanish, then Mediterranean and finally, Tudor.

Travel West on Kenneth Road and make a right turn on Grandview, and a right on Cumberland.  Some of the most beautiful Glendale homes are found in this neighborhood. Looking to move to the gorgeous Glendale? You can learn all about this fabulous neighborhood on my website.
