In 1975, the owners purchased their home at 4928 Trend Terrace in La Crescenta to raise their growing family. They appreciated its location on a cul-de-sac, and as their children grew up, they frequently closed it off for games. Thinking they would never move; they didn’t update the home for a quick resale return. Instead, they focused on quality and convenience. The significant updates occurred from 2000 to 2010, spending over a quarter of a million dollars.
The kitchen expansion was orchestrated with a beautiful remodel boasting granite counters, stainless appliances, pull-out custom cabinets, a wine fridge, and a garden window. She envisioned a formal dining room for her family to enjoy holiday meals. Therefore, they expanded and reconfigured the area, adding a granite serving buffet. Additionally, the spacious family room off of the kitchen has a skylight, to allow more natural light. The living room features a rock fireplace with a mantel and opens to a covered patio and grassy backyard. The bathrooms have been remodeled. In the master, the owners thought to add a pull-out for cosmetics (brilliant), double sinks, extra jets in the shower, and a heated floor. The guest bath has a jetted tub and linen closet.
