New listings have been few and far between, but there is hope for home buyers – new listings are coming soon. I have recently been meeting with home sellers and am busy preparing some new listings for sale. Patience is a virtue because several of these home sellers won’t be ready for their home’s debut until April or perhaps later.
Here’s what’s coming soon at Harb & Co: A mid-century view home in Glendale; an updated cul-de-sac home in La Crescenta. And I anticipate listing one of La Crescenta’s trophy homes. Harb & Co’s latest partner, Kris is listing an intimate artist’s retreat in Sierra Madre. 18 Vista Circle Drive is a one bedroom artist retreat in the hills of Sierra Madre, the garage has been converted to an additional bedroom. This home is quiet in a very tranquil setting with beautiful outdoor spaces, it will be open Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 PM.
Typically most home sellers wait until after Super Bowl Weekend and others delay until after President’s Day to have their home listed in the multiple listing service (MLS). Listing inventory is off to a slow start, but the good news is that after the holiday slow down new listings are coming and hopefully there will be enough to go around.
The relocation of Glendale’s Nestle headquarters should also result in more inventory. This move will commence later this year, with an anticipated completion by the end of 2018. Lots of new listings are coming soon.
