Last week, my newly constructed La Crescenta home closed escrow swiftly. Remarkably, we sold it quickly and at full price. However, I initially hoped the seller would consider furniture rental. In my view, this could have further boosted the selling price. For instance, we minimally staged my La Crescenta listing on Hamilton, renting furniture for just a few rooms. Consequently, we attracted over a dozen offers, which significantly increased the final price. Minimal staging costs little yet yields great results. Additionally, the buyer’s agent acted professionally and was a pleasure to work with during escrow. Fortunately, no issues arose with the loan or appraisal. Looking ahead, May appears quiet. Nevertheless, I’m excitedly preparing two new listings in La Canada. Hopefully, both will hit the market next month.
