As a result of Operation Fashion Police, a Homeland Security-led probe in collaboration with the U.S. Attorney’s Office continues to target alleged large-scale money laundering by businesses in the Los Angeles garment district. A seizure notice was placed at this Pasadena estate. It’s a five-bedroom, nine-bath estate on an acre that was purchased in July 2013 for $7,800,000.

Marketing from the 2013 purchase read:

Explore this stunning Colonial Revival manor. It sits in the heart of Pasadena’s Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens area. Giannetti Architects designed this estate in 2005, and Finton Construction built it. First, notice the refined architectural details and exquisite finishes. They highlight breathtaking craftsmanship and artistry. Deep crown moldings, lush window coverings, and rich mahogany floors grace most of the estate. Plus, hand-painted wallpaper and rich paneling enhance dramatic wall sconces and crystal chandeliers. Next, discover five bedroom suites. Two master bathrooms, dressing rooms, a library-office, and an additional office await.
Then, enjoy a theater projection room with a wet bar. A formal dining room, living room, family room, and gourmet kitchen with an eating area impress. French doors open to a grand loggia. It overlooks the dramatic pool, spa, and grounds. Also, check out the separate 1,437 square-foot gaming room and gym. Finally, access the barbecue area and fire pit from the kitchen and bath.
