What’s happening at Harb & Co?

Real Estate is a waiting game. Although, patience is a virtue, it is not my strong point. Because of this, Kris and I work with several local charities and their silent auctions. On Sunday, we finished our silent auction for the celebration of the Feast of St. Joseph at St. Bede in La Canada.

During our real estate waiting time, we solicit silent auction donations. It makes the waiting less painful. So, here’s what’s happening at Harb & Co. real estate-wise:

San Gabriel single-family and triplex, waiting to close. Glendale Adams Hill triplex, waiting to close. 3737 Madison Rd., La Canada, closed, but seller rent-back; waiting for key exchange.  North Hollywood single-family, represented buyer, has closed; seller has rent-back, waiting on key exchange. San Fernando Valley new escrow, representing buyer, waiting to schedule physical inspection.

New listings:

Atwater Village: 3 + 1, waiting for tenant to move out 3/31.  Compiling estimates for interior paint.
La Crescenta: 3 + 2, waiting for tenant to move out 4/30. Gardener is getting the lawn green, mulching, gaining curb appeal.

Real estate is a waiting game, and I think this is why there are so many part time real estate agents. Coming from a banking background, I am accustomed to a structured nine to five routine. The silent auction solicitations fill the waiting. It’s a win-win and keeps me sane.
