MLS Remarks for 4909 Oakwood Ave La Canada read:

This custom-built Spanish Estate was built in 2008 by its current owners. It features everything needed to live comfortably while maintaining it’s unique, classic charm. The well-manicured front lawn features a practical circular driveway. Walk inside, and you will notice the high ceilings, gorgeous hand-distressed wood floors, impressive entrance foyer, & a grand staircase. The formal living room & dining room, with access to the backyard, are ideal for special occasions & entertaining. The kitchen features a center island and top-of-the-line appliances, & opens up to the spacious family room with a fireplace, ideal for everyday living. The main level also includes an office, 2 powder rooms, and a laundry room.

Walk outside to the backyard and you will find an oversized covered patio with a barbecue, outdoor kitchen with Viking appliances, TV, & a fireplace. With a saltwater pool, hot tub, fire-pit, outdoor shower, dressing room, in-ground trampoline, sport court with Air Jordan logo, tetherball, numerous fruit and vegetable trees. There is also a separate guest unit with a private entrance, which includes a living room, bedroom, and bathroom.

Last month we closed escrow on our listing at 4344 Fairlawn Drive, La Canada.  I am happy to report it sold to someone who will remodel and add a fourth bedroom. The home had been in the same family for decades and we didn’t want to see it bulldozed.
