It’s one and a half acres centrally located on the corner of Foothill Blvd. and La Cañada Blvd. What’s so special about Memorial Park in La Canada? Memorial Day Weekend is a significant event in La Canada, and most events are held at or near La Canada’s Memorial Park. It kicks off with a Saturday morning car show and breakfast. On Sunday, there is a barbecue dinner; typically, the LCHS Jazz band will play.
The local parade and Afternoon in the Park are Monday’s kick-off for the Music in the Park Summer Series. The Summer Concerts run from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Friends and locals gather on Sunday evenings with picnic baskets to enjoy a wide variety of popular genres, from classic rock to reggae to soul; these free concerts offer something for everyone to enjoy.
During Covid the Farmers Market was moved to Memorial Park. This provided more space for social distancing.
