CV 4th of July Fireworks Celebration starts at 4 pm, fireworks with music beginning at dusk. Enter from the 2800 block of Prospect Ave.

The Montrose Car Show is now in its 23rd year, attracting thousands of area residents as well as automobile aficionados from all over southern California to the Montrose Shopping Park. This Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM in the 2200, 2300 & 2400 blocks of Honolulu Avenue at the Montrose Shopping Park.

Music in the Park concert series. Join family, friends, and neighbors for free music evenings at Memorial Park at 1301 Foothill Boulevard. Bring a picnic basket and enjoy the live music. Concerts are on Sundays at 6:00 PM.

Every first Friday of the month, L.A.’s Chinatown stays open late for an evening of exploring the unique small businesses and contemporary art and culture spaces that make up the historic neighborhood. West Plaza and Chungking Road activate with local pop-up vendors, DJ-spun music, and extended hours at neighborhood art galleries. There is also a concurrent Damnoen Saduak Night Market at Central Plaza. The activations run from 5 to 10 p.m.
