Carved at Descanso Gardens through October 30th. Descanso Railroad will be specially lit for Carved, and new ghosts will join the family of wood spirits carved from five enormous logs by Chainsaw Jenna. Enjoy glowing jack-o’-lanterns, intricately hand-carved giant pumpkins, and a captivating ‘Rhizome’ installation.

Halloween Sppooktacular  Dress up in your most creative costumes and join the fun at One Colorado for store-to-store Trick-or-Treating. Enjoy sweet surprises from participating shops and restaurants as they hand out Halloween goodies for the little ones — while supplies last. After filling your candy bags, join the Halloween-themed photo area for a festive family portrait taken by our on-site photographer. Joe Turner’s Come and Gone is a powerful and poetic play set in a Pittsburgh boarding house in 1911. The largest Día de los Muertos celebration in the U.S. returns to Hollywood Forever Cemetery this Saturday for its 26th installment. The day honors ancestors with dozens of altars, Aztec dancers, and vendors, anchored by two outdoor screenings of Disney•Pixar’s Coco on the Fairbanks Lawn.
