Carved at Descanso Gardens through October 30th. Descanso Railroad will be specially lit for Carved, and new ghosts will join the family of wood spirits carved from five enormous logs by Chainsaw Jenna. Enjoy glowing jack-o’-lanterns, intricately hand-carved giant pumpkins, and our captivating ‘Rhizome’ installation by Tom and Lien Dekyvere.

Craftsman Week, through October 19th, is a beloved tradition. Pasadena will come alive with tours, talks, concerts, and special events celebrating the city’s rich Craftsman legacy. Highlights include walking tours of historic neighborhoods, VIP art glass and tile experiences, a keynote lecture by Brett Waterman, host of the Magnolia Network series Restored, engaging exhibits, a lively craft fair, and an intimate concert in front of the famed Blinn House fireplace. Throughout the week, daily tours are available at the Gamble House, a lunchtime conversation with the Pasadena Museum of History, and a “Save the Tiles” exhibit at the Blinn House.

Wine tastings every weekend at Rosso Wine Shop. The general theme is “Try Three Wines for $12.” Begin with a white wine, and then move on to two reds. Typically, the middle wine is lighter to medium-bodied, followed by a heavier wine. New wines are poured each weekend.
