Carved at Descanso Gardens through October 30th. Descanso Railroad will be specially lit for Carved, and new ghosts will join the family of wood spirits carved from five enormous logs by Chainsaw Jenna. Enjoy glowing jack-o’-lanterns, intricately hand-carved giant pumpkins, and a captivating ‘Rhizome’ installation by Tom and Lien Dekyvere.

Don’t miss the energetic Taiko drum performance taking place at Library Park from 5:00 to 5:30 PM. Earlier in the day, join an origami folding session in the Children’s Room from 3:00 to 4:30 PM. Craftsman Week, from October 19th to an unspecified date, is a beloved tradition. Pasadena will come alive with tours, talks, concerts, and special events celebrating the city’s rich Craftsman legacy. The week offers a variety of highlights, including walking tours through historic neighborhoods, exclusive VIP experiences focused on art glass and tile, and a keynote lecture by Brett Waterman, host of the Magnolia Network series Restored. Visitors can enjoy engaging exhibits, a lively craft fair, and a unique, intimate concert set in front of the famed Blinn House fireplace. Daily tours of the iconic Gamble House will be available throughout the week, along with a lunchtime conversation hosted by the Pasadena Museum of History and the “Save the Tiles” exhibit at the Blinn House. It’s a full celebration of Pasadena’s architectural heritage and artistic spirit.

Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, a powerful and poetic play set in a Pittsburgh boarding house in 1911. Wine tastings every weekend at Rosso Wine Shop. The general theme is “Try Three Wines for $12.” Begin with a white wine, and then move on to two reds.
