The Crescenta Valley Lions Club is hosting its annual craft and gift boutique “Falling into the Holidays” on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the historic St. Luke’s of the Mountains Episcopal Church, 2563 Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta.

Carved at Descanso Gardens through October 30th. Descanso Railroad will be specially lit for Carved, and new ghosts will join the family of wood spirits carved from five enormous logs by Chainsaw Jenna. Enjoy glowing jack-o’-lanterns, intricately hand-carved giant pumpkins, and a captivating ‘Rhizome’ installation by Tom and Lien Dekyvere.

Joe Turner’s Come and Gone is a powerful and poetic play set in a Pittsburgh boarding house in 1911.
