Top Ten New Year’s Resolutions

Top Ten New Year’s Resolutions: About 45% of Americans make New Year’s resolutions. I’m not one of them. Still, I find the numbers interesting and even encouraging. Surprisingly, 75% of people stick to their resolutions during the first week. That’s a strong start. It shows that many begin the year with clear goals and motivation.

Furthermore, nearly half—46%—are still holding on to their resolutions six months later. That’s impressive. It suggests that, with effort and consistency, change is possible. In fact, it made me rethink how I view resolutions. I used to think most were forgotten by February.

However, these numbers tell a different story. They show that many people take their promises seriously, put in the work, and stay on track far longer than I expected.

So while I may not set formal resolutions myself, I can appreciate the dedication behind them. Maybe it’s not about making a grand promise, but rather about setting small, realistic goals. After all, progress—no matter how slow—is still progress.

So, what are the top ten New Year’s Resolutions?
