Winding down in the 4th quarter of the year: Several weeks ago, I attended a real estate seminar by my broker. The workshop taught me that the 4th quarter can be the most important for a Realtor. This is the time to plan for next year so that we hit the ground running in January. Harb and Co. is winding down the 4th quarter of the year.
This is not to say that I won’t be listing any homes before the end of the year, but the pace will slow. Of course, I still have buyers looking for their dream home, but they have been advised to be patient; fewer homes come on the market this time of year. Fresh inventory will appear in January.
While some Realtors will use this slowdown as an excuse to slack off, my team and I will be updating our marketing and in the office daily.
