Last month, there were 46 Glendale home sales. The least expensive sale was 1209 Alameda Ave. (right around the corner from my Aunt Marion’s home). This 1930s traditional sold for $501,500 – more than $80,000 over asking price. The home offers 2 bedrooms and one bath and is located on a busy street. The high end was 1326 Rossmoyne Ave. This two story 930s traditional sold at the asking price of $1,750,000.
Buyers during the holidays often need to move, so they’re much less likely to make a low offer, and they’ll often want to close quickly — two things that can make the sale much smoother. If your home is currently languishing on the market, don’t lose hope, this is a great time of year to be a Glendale home seller.
