What’s going on with Phyllis and Harb & Co?

Sometimes, writing my real estate blog is simple and completed in a few minutes.  Other times it takes hours to compile the real estate market value statistics.  But now and again, I don’t have much to say.  So here’s what’s going on with Phyllis and Harb & Co.

It’s been a crazy first quarter…. We have been busy showing, selling, staging, negotiating, closing, and, my least favorite, arguing with appraisers.  Not all appraisers are created equal… I just got off the phone with one, and he was a pro.  Realtors and appraisers have a love-hate relationship.

All of my listings are in escrow… Joe has a mom-and-pop grocery store in Whittier with fire damage listed @ $199,000. Other than that, just waiting for my new listing to be ready to come on the market. Although I am finished with round one of my Italian lessons, I learned very little but that will not deter me. I am going to take them over again (anyone interested should contact St. Bedes in La Canada).

I want to thank all of my friends who stopped by St. Bedes to participate in our St. Joseph’s Table celebration and purchased homemade Italian items, including my spaghetti sauce.   Next year, I will provide advance notice… a great opportunity to purchase homemade sauce, biscotti, and many other home-baked goods.
