A four-bedroom, three-bathroom home at 5714 Alder Ridge Dr sold for $626.96 per square foot. Meanwhile, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom home at 4920 Rupert Lane sold for $1,152.39 per square foot. This was also the least expensive home sold in the month of September. Initially listed for $1,298,000 and sold over asking for $1,520,000 in just fifteen days.

The most expensive home sold in La Canada was a six-bedroom, six-bathroom, 5,404-square-foot home located at 420 Inverness Drive. This luxury home was listed for $4,795,000 and sold in just eight days for $4,900,000.

The average number of days on the market is the highest year-to-date. Five homes sold in fifteen days or less.  Eight La Canada homes took more than a month to sell, ranging from thirty-five days to two hundred and ninety-six days. The absorption rate remains low, and some homes that are priced aggressively continue to sell over the asking price.
