Montrose Spring Wine Walk – from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with check-in starting at 4:00 PM. Stroll through the park and enjoy wine samples at 25+ pour stations hosted by local merchants and businesses. Each stop will feature red and/or white wines along with snacks, plus complimentary bottled water will be available. Enjoy live music and activities throughout the Shopping Park while you sip and explore. Important: Check-in booth closes at 6:45 PM, and all Wine Walk participants must check in by that time.

Butterfly Season at Kidspace Children’s Museum: Take the family to a celebration of butterflies and pollinators at Kidspace Children’s Museum, through May 17. Children can engage with nature while exploring the habitats and life cycles of butterflies and other pollinators through hands-on exhibits, activities, and programs. Kids can test their creature-spotting skills on a Bug Safari, create a caterpillar out of clay and add seeds to watch it sprout at home, or dress up like a butterfly and spread their wings in a fantasy flutter-by. They can also take a spin on the interactive art installation, Los Trompos. There is plenty for your little love bug to explore, so bring the family and see what the buzz is about.
Friday night, ArtNight is Pasadena’s signature cultural event. Produced by the Pasadena Cultural Affairs Division in partnership with local cultural organizations, this dynamic open house takes place twice a year in Pasadena—typically on the second Fridays of March and October—from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. During the evening, partner arts and cultural organizations open their doors and offer free admission along with special programming in visual arts, literary arts, dance, music, and theater. Free shuttles transport visitors between the various locations, and wheelchair-accessible buses are also available.

Wine tastings every weekend at Rosso Wine Shop. The general theme is “Try Three Wines for $12.” To start, enjoy a white wine, then move on to two reds. 10th Annual International Women’s Day Dance Festival – First, celebrate a decade of artistry with MashUp Contemporary Dance Company from Friday to Sunday during a three-day citywide festival. Then, the weekend begins Friday at the West Hollywood Library with an International Dance Film Festival hosted by Linda Recessionista. The program features six selected films from around the world. In addition, organizers will honor local artists Boróka Nagy and Vanessa Hernández Cruz during a special awards ceremony. After the screening, guests can head to Zinqué for a 9 p.m. kick-off party. Meanwhile, the celebration continues all weekend. First, watch live performances at Stomping Ground LA. Then, join a full day of dance classes at The Pickle Factory.
