I recently discovered Toasted in Montrose. While it’s not new, it was new to me—and definitely worth the find. One time I tried the breakfast sandwich, and the other a waffle; both items were delicious. Their coffee is freshly roasted, and they make a fabulous cappuccino. In addition, the menu is extensive, with plenty of options. They also serve lunch until 2 p.m.
Service can be slow. As a result, I would avoid it if you are short on time, especially during lunch hours. Still, the inviting outdoor seating creates a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Montrose continues to impress. There are so many dining options throughout the community. In fact, it’s surprising how well the area supports them all. Yet, they stay busy and continue to thrive. This speaks to the strength of the local economy and the loyalty of residents and nearby neighbors in La Canada, Glendale, and Montrose.
For homebuyers, this matters. A vibrant dining scene enhances lifestyle and walkability. It also reflects a connected, engaged community. Montrose delivers on all counts.
