2026 Magic Show at Fremont Elementary, Saturday, for an unforgettable evening featuring world-famous magicians from the Magic Castle in Hollywood. Shows begin at 5:00 pm and 7:30 pm. VIP tickets (first two rows) are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Children under 15 must sit with an adult—no exceptions. The Great Altadena Poppy Festival. The event aims to drive foot traffic and support local businesses still rebuilding after the 2025 Eaton Fire. It also celebrates the California poppy as a symbol of Altadena’s resilience. As part of the Great Altadena Poppy Project—the precursor to the festival—700 residents helped sow 250 million poppy seeds across burn-scarred lots. The festival is free and begins at 10 a.m. at Grocery Outlet in Altadena (2270 Lake Ave.). Attendees can pick up a physical passport to guide them through the event, browse community booths, and take photos at a flower wall backdrop.

Sunday, the 2026 Pasadena Showcase House of Design will take place at the Baldwin Oaks Estate in Arcadia,  a captivating journey into California’s Golden Age. Discover interior design inspiration through a docent-led tour, shop from local vendors, and experience unique events including speakeasy nights, candle-making, and yoga on the lawn.

Wiggle Waggle Walk & Run. Start your Sunday bright and early at Brookside Park at the Rose Bowl at 8:00 am. Meanwhile, the Wiggle Waggle Walk & Run—one of Pasadena Humane’s biggest fundraisers brings the community together for a great cause. Proceeds help save the lives of thousands of animals through vital programs such as foster care, the kitten nursery, animal ICU, wildlife care, and more. Death of a Salesman at a Noise Within through April 19th. Wine tastings every weekend at Rosso Wine Shop. The general theme is “Try Three Wines for $12.” Start with a white wine, then move on to two reds. Typically, the second wine is light to medium-bodied, followed by a fuller selection to finish the tasting. Meanwhile, new wines are featured each weekend, which keeps the experience fresh. Guests can also order wine by the glass or choose from a variety of beers. The tasting takes place at 3459 N. Verdugo Rd. in Glendale.

Downtown Burbank Cultural Market. This unique outdoor market takes place every Friday and Saturday from 5:00 to 9:30 PM and Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the corner of Palm Avenue and San Fernando Boulevard, along the AMC walkway in Downtown Burbank.
