The 39th Annual La Cañada Spring Home Tour is a cherished community tradition for the La Canada High School. Tour four distinctive homes, each selected for its architectural vision and design inspiration. Join the Montrose Shopping Park for “Kids & Kritters Day” on Sunday. This fun-filled event offers something for everyone and celebrates the diversity of the Crescenta–Canada Valley. It brings together exotic and domestic animals, a First Responders area with local law enforcement and firefighters, and a Kids Fun Zone with inflatable slides and bungee jumping. Kids take center stage. The farm animal petting zoo lets children interact with gentle animals up close. Wild Wonders returns by popular demand with its Exotic Animal Shows, offering hands-on experiences with unusual creatures. The festivities continue along the 2300 block with the popular Montrose Harvest Market. More than 150,000 attendees visited last year to shop for fresh California Certified and organic produce, flowers, baked goods, and specialty foods. Event activities run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The Glendale Historical Society is delighted to present its “Classic Colonials” Home Tour on Sunday, from 10 am to 4 pm. In celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary and California’s 175th Anniversary, this year’s tour features five distinguished residences showcasing Colonial Revival and Monterey Colonial Revival architecture, the latter a style uniquely rooted in California’s architectural heritage. Wine tastings every weekend at Rosso Wine Shop. The general theme is “Try Three Wines for $12.” Start with a white wine, then move on to two reds. Typically, the second wine is light to medium-bodied, followed by a fuller selection to finish the tasting. Meanwhile, new wines are featured each weekend, which keeps the experience fresh.
